Our History

It all started in 2013 when a talented software developer was taking his dogs to a busy dog daycare and boarding business here in Boulder, Colorado. Among the sticky notes, paper calendars, and whiteboards was an experienced general manager of pet-care businesses. Together, these two partnered to create a better way.

Launched in early 2015, Gingr was warmly embraced and widely adopted right from the start.

Since then, we’ve grown and evolved into a robust collection of professionals—some from pet-care professions, some from technical backgrounds. What unites us is a passion for delivering the best-in-show dog boarding kennel, dog daycare, and grooming software available. We are based in the U.S. We only do pet-care software.
